Mango languagesLearning a new language with Mango Languages is free for all L/A library patrons, and offers a fast and convenient solution for our community’s increasing language-learning needs. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. The courses are presented with an appreciation for cultural nuance and real-world application. Learn actual conversation, drawing on important connections and building on information you’ve already learned.

There are more than 60 foreign language courses available and 16 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.

Access Basic ESL

Basic ESL improves an individual’s listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a simple to follow, and instructionally proven curriculum.

Students learn English quickly and effectively on relevant topics including: family, home, school and many other topics. In each lesson students learn key vocabulary and how to use that vocabulary in conversation.

No computer experience is necessary.
